Our Muay Thai Coach here at WFC is Primo Bellarosa. He started training as a young boy at the age of 8. The past 10 years he has been coaching full time. He is a 7 time muay thai champion in 3 weight classes. Primo has coached and cornered guys in the highest level of the sport. Including Strikeforce, Bellator, and the UFC. Primo wrestled in college and is a purple belt in BJJ under Renzo Gracie. That knowledge with his accomplishments in muay thai give him an edge when it comes to teaching striking for MMA Training Gyms in Somers.
Our head BJJ instructor is Steven “the prodigy” Williams. He earned the name the prodigy because he was the youngest and fastest to achieve the level of BJJ Blackbelt from Renzo Gracie. He was the main sparring and training partner for GSP during 4 years of his career. Steven has won many advanced grapplers quest and naga tournaments (too many to list) and he is undefeated in MMA competition.
Our boxing coach at WFC is Joey Valle. A golden gloves champion who made history recording the quickest Knockout in golden gloves history. He is undefeated as a pro with at 5-0. Both Joey’s father and grandfather Victor Valle Sr. and Jr. are world renowned trainers that trained and cornered world champions.
