The MMA Coach here at WFC is Michael Stewart. He is a pro level grappler and a college wrestler. He is ranked number 1 in the northeast region at light heavyweight.
Our Kru at WFC is Primo Bellarosa. He started training as a young boy at the age of 8. A full time coach for the past 10 years. He has fought in 3 weight classes and is a 7 time muay thai champion. Primo has coached and cornered guys in the highest level of the sport. Including Strikeforce, Bellator, and the UFC. He is a BJJ purple belt under Renzo Gracie and wrestled in college. With his experience in Muay Thai and his well rounded knowledge give him an edge when it comes to teaching striking for MMA Training Gyms in Maryknoll.
Our head BJJ instructor is Steven “the prodigy” Williams. He is nicknamed the prodigy because he was the youngest and fastest to achieve the level of BJJ Blackbelt from Renzo Gracie. Steven was flown around the country to help train top level UFC guys, He was flown back and forth to Canada to be the main training partner for GSP for over 4 years. Steven is undefeated in MMA and has won many advanced grapplers quests, naga’s, and grappling tournments (too many to list).
Our boxing coach at WFC is Joey Valle. He scored the fastest knockout in golden gloves history and is a NY golden gloves champ. He is undefeated as a pro with at 5-0. Both Joey’s father and grandfather Victor Valle Sr. and Jr. are world renowned trainers that trained and cornered world champions.
